Dorado Cares was founded in 2022 and is a non-profit committed to helping and advancing the people and communities of Puerto Rico. Through direct donations, deliveries of supplies, volunteer work, and the distribution of grants, Dorado Cares has made a direct impact to various communities of the island. Dorado Cares is a foundation established and operated by residents in the various communities in Dorado, to make the greatest impact in Puerto Rico.

Certified for
Child Welfare in PR
Dorado Cares was first registered and certified with Comisión Especial Conjunta de Fondos Legislativos para Impacto Comunitario (CECFL) as of January 1, 2023, and remains registered each year thereafter.
This certification means that our central theme throughout all five Missions is Child Welfare in Puerto Rico.
It also enables Dorado Cares to receive donations from Act 60 decree holders who are required to donate to certified child-welfare organizations.
